The GO PA Fund website, formerly the GO Philly Fund, gets a brand new look and a custom built WordPress theme with a scalable, future-proof architecture.

The original Fund was formed by two of the Philadelphia region’s leaders in early stage investments and product development, Ben Franklin Technology Partners and EPAM. The Fund helps facilitate investor participation within the region’s technology-based ventures.

The collaboration between the fund’s partners, combined with their insights and expertise, helps to drive ongoing support for regional entrepreneurship in the technology sector, while affecting the growth of the region at large.

Website Redesign in WordPress

The newly designed website reflects the excitement surrounding the success of the first fund and the enthusiasm that fuels new investments in the Philadelphia region.

EffectiV was entrusted to spearhead the top down redesign of the GOPAFund.com website. Tapping our experience working with venture and PE firms, we worked closely with GO PA’s marketing team to ensure the firm’s previously established branding guidelines were carefully followed, while still delivering a fully refreshed aesthetic. The foundation of the redesigned website is it’s custom WordPress theme.

The new website includes expanded architecture using custom post types, a fundamental building block for managing content types within WordPress. This includes dedicated sections to feature the fund’s investment case studies. New pages offer details of the success the fund has demonstrated investing in regional start-ups and new businesses. Portfolio companies are showcased with their own pages, detailing the advantages each business has carved out for itself, and how the GO Philly Fund has provided critical leadership to accelerate growth.

Custom Designed & Coded WordPress Theme

EffectiV created a new, custom designed WordPress theme for the site based on the firm’s branding guidelines, which were meticulously conceived and laid out by the fund’s lead partners, EPAM and Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Southeastern PA.

Creative concepts were demonstrated in multiple methods, giving all stakeholders an opportunity to fully appreciate the intent of the newly conceived designs.

Approved creative deliverables were moved into production for the new website by creating a fully custom WordPress theme.

EffectiV delivered the venture fund’s branding elements within the new WordPress theme. This ensures brand consistency at launch, and safeguards that consistency as new features are released.
